The Truth Behind Chapped Lips

So why is it that our lips get chapped? What's up with that?

The truth is - our lips don't shed, causing them to become chapped. According to MSNBC, subconsciously licking lips also causes them to chap. Saliva contains acid, so licking lips can dehydrate the thin layer of skin, leaving them rough and dry.

To keep lips smooth and soft, it's very important to not only moisturize, but to exfoliate as well.

Good Fortune knows that the upcoming winter months will bring back those dry lips we all dread, so we found a solution!

Our Brown Sugar Vanilla Lip Scrub is a great way to exfoliate. Simply rub on lips, then lick off! After you're done scrubbing, follow up with one of our moisturizing natural lip balms. There's no better way to take care of your lips - naturally.
