The Secret to Smooth Spring Skin

Ready for Spring? I certainly am!
Warm weather, flip tops, and tanks tops are what I've been waiting on! I can tell Spring is here, because Faucet Soap sales are picking up.
Not familiar with our Faucet Soaps?
They are kind of like soap on a rope, except much cooler!

Benefits:
The (3-in-1) soap is inside the mesh bag, which foams and scrubs you clean! It exfoliates your dry skin, can be used for shaving, and gives you a healthy glow!

Features:
A soap in a sack saves you time, the natural recipe is safe for the garden and camping, and the water proof bag is perfect for traveling.

Wow:
100% natural, bath/shower/shave, (3-in-1 uses) = $$ savings, phosphate-free and biodegradable, helps treat & prevent back acne.

(It is also great to use before applying self tanner, and to scrub poison ivy, sunburns, and tattoos).

What verb describes you or your business?

That is the question my new friend Del asked me, and it got me thinking.

Del is a hilarious modern day super woman and the co-developer of rocklovepeace, a stylish business with a passion for making the world a better place. Del is also a "green team action leader" for Starbucks down in Florida.  She is doing a county wide earth month thing at each store through the month of April. Each day will be a "make the world a better place" idea with a product giveaway. That is where Good Fortune comes in! Del also asked me to use one verb to describe my business, so I choose loving.

Love your Skin • Love the Earth • Love the Spirit

Yes, we are a natural soap and body care business, but I didn't start it to be rich. I started it to bless others. (Read my story for more juicy details.) Now 4 years into it, my goals are still the same, and my #1 is to love more each day...however I can! We've all been called to love!

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13

What verb describes you?

Private Label Lotion and Lip Balm For a Good Cause

Caroline Cheshire, owner of Healing Baskets, found Good Fortune online and asked us to create personalized lip balms and private label lotions for her unique gift baskets. We created custom designs for themes such as courage, warrior, believe, and loved. Her gift baskets offer words of encouragement and help you reach out and connect with someone when they need it most.  "Often that's all it takes for someone to begin their healing journey", says Caroline.

We made special unscented and lavender lip balm and lotion for Healing Baskets. We wanted to take extra care for those people healing from diseases and who need gentle body products. The personalized labels are fun and funky! We pray that her customers are healed indeed!

We love this company and all they stand for! Be sure to check them out & read Caroline's story: Healing Baskets.

We're ready for Spring here at Good Fortune!

The snow was pretty, and fun for a change, but living and working in a barn is not for the weak! We are cold and our feet are numb. Birrr!

Our first big snow can in a matter of minutes, and almost left my employees stranded over night. We are used to chilly winters and snow flurries, but we're not used to real snow. Luckily, my employees made it home safe, and all the work got done.

Mom, AJ, and I hiked the farm and went sledding. Oh what fun, but we're ready for Spring! I can already feel the sun shining on my face, flip flops on my feet, and packing orders with the french doors open!
